Chinese New Year in Paris.

Chinese New Year in Paris has become one of the city's most popular annual events, In 2013, Chinese New Year officially begins on February 10th, with major celebrations that took place on Sunday, February 17th starting at 1pm at Paris's 13th arrondissement near Metro Gobelins, The parade left from 44 avenue d'Ivry (Metro Gobelins), winding through Avenue de Choisy, Place d'Italie, Avenue d'Italie, Rue de Tolbiac, and boulevard Massena, ending at Avenue d'Ivry in south-central Paris. Parisians of all stripes eagerly crowded the streets of South Paris to witness a cheerful procession of dancers and musicians, vibrantly-hued dragons and fish, and elegant flags embossed with Chinese characters.  A truly memorable experience.

Carnival 2013, Paris-France
When we say "Carnival", we think of course the sumptuous and festive Carnival Rio, probably the largest and most famous carnivals. However, the spirit of the carnival is everywhere, and France is no exception when it comes to having fun! There are many carnivals in France, as the Carnaval de Paris that year by year is bringing more people. let the fun begin!

Save money in time of crisis

These days of crisis we all have to save money. There are many things we can do to decrease our expenditures with just some small adjustments. Here there are 10 ways to save money.

1. Re-use plastic shopping bags as trash bags
2. Cut down on cigarettes
3. Make a monthly budget
4. Don't use your credit cards for everything
5. Find a cheaper cell plan
6. Sell your garbage
7. Look for the cheapest prices
8. Don't buy branded cloths
9. Use coupons
10. Pick up pennies

Mind power
Mind power is an essential tool for wellbeing.  Ramil Morla said that "Everyone has the power and ability to make dramatic changes and improvements in their lives by learning how to access and use the power of our subconscious mind". It is not that simple because many people give up before they reach their desired results and then they turn around a say, “It doesn’t work.” So, In order to get the results you want, you will have to practice diligently and consistently work on training your subconscious mind to accept your new goal, so that it can work for or with you, helping to manifest it into your reality.

Smoke Photography Setup

Since I started to do photography I have been interested to work on smoke photography Today I decided to do my first try. So,  Looking on internet I found that the setup for smoke photography is relatively simple but it is not easy to control the smoke.
Here’s what you need to do your smoke photography.
  • 1. A power controllable flash (in my case, Nikon SB700)
  • 2. A DSLR with any good lens, though a macro lens would make things a lot easier.
  • 3. Although you can get smoke from various sources, I used incense sticks
  • 4. A tripod is required
  • 5. A table lamp pointed on the smoke helps in focussing.
  • 6. A black cloth for the backdrop. Two small black sheets that can form a rectangular snoot and last but not least, a wireless trigger.

Eat more Salad
Eating salad almost every day was my new year resolution for 2013,  So, having green colour in your plate may be one of the most healthy eating habits you can adopt. and not only that, salads are cool, crunchy, and fun to eat. Bone appetite.

How much water should you drink each day?
It's a simple question with no easy answers. before any doctor or fitness instructor say anything you need to answer a very long questionary. starting with the weather condition where you live and some other more personals like if you are breastfeeding. LOL that is the case of my friend who ask the same question to her fitness instructor. I am wonder if one of the questions was about her phone number LOL.

Mola Mola Fish
I saw this strange fish at the aquarium in Valencia-Spain and it's looks more like a gigantic rock. The Mola Mola, as the Ocean Sunfish is also known can grow up to 1.8 – 3.3m (5.9- 10.8 ft) and can weigh a staggering 1,000kg (2,200 lbs),  this fish can swim to depths of about 600m (2,000 ft). This monster of a fish is docile towards humans and can even jump out the water at the surface up to a height 10 feet (3 meters) in the air and land with a splash to shake off parasites that infest their skin.

Back to School
Is the result of an improvised photo session at home. I just wanted to take a photo of her pony tail and we ended taking a back to school photo shoot. here some of them.

Visit the Louvre Museum for free.
Many Tourist and friends asked me How difficult is it to gain free access into the Louvre on Sundays?
So, here is my answer:
Musée du Louvre is not free EVERY Sunday...only on the FIRST SUNDAY of each month. So, if you're here on the first Sunday of the month and want to see the Louvre, "Bingo" the visit will be for FREE but here is my recommendation "get there when it first opens. I did last month and there was virtually nobody around and no queue. Half an hour to an hour after opening it starts to fill up fairly quickly and believe me it will be crazy.

I had the opportunity to photographs the Paris Zombie Walk 2012, and here you can see some of my photos.

Paris Love locks
For those of you who haven’t heard of them, here's the story. A couple writes their names on a padlock and locks it onto one of the bridges. They then throw the key into the Seine River as a symbol of their undying love.

Behind the window
Sitting back and observing the wide variety of people traveling by train can be a fascinating experience.  Even more so when it is dark outside. The way one person is completely absorbed in his book and another closes his eyes and immediately dozes result interesting to see. Nowadays thanks to the technology most of the people just sit and listen their favourite music while others are engaged in a lively conversation by their portable phones. but more interesting is how people react when the train pulls in at their destination. Behind the window occupants seem to be living, not merely in a parallel train, but in a parallel universe. an Universe where people are suspended in the mid-air and moving in time through the speed of the fabulous transportation. however they are almost unaware of your observing gaze and only seldom do two pairs of eyes meet in the mirroring glass. Then, like a feeling of déja vu, the two parallel universes seem to collide for a brief moment.

Russian Wolf
Contrary to a widespread strain of popular belief, the wolf is never cruel. Wolves have a very strong instinct for togetherness and common endeavour. the most prominent quality of the wolf is its remarkable capacity to form strong bonds, to keep the pack together in order to uphold its life and this intelligent animal learn, understand and adapt their self by observing others.

Make Your Own Photo Background.
How often do you take a photo in which the subject looks great but you would like to remove the background because there are elements distracting the main subject?. When this happens, Photoshop has tools that you can use to manipulate the background.
here one example: I took this wedding photo in Saint Petersburg-Russia, at the park, during a cloudy day and with strong elements affecting the lovely scene, so, I used photoshop to replace the old and busy background of the park for a beautiful and peaceful beach scene.
